The more sites you are listed on the more reviews will be pushed to your client base. The more reviews you have the easier it is to bury a bad review.

As a business owner it is your responsibility to make sure that reviews are being responded to. For example a negative review receives a response and a link to a blog post or positive involvement from the company in the community and boom negative turned to positive. In the same respect anytime someone is posting a positive review you should be pushing that out to other review sites and social sites online to amplify the digital word of mouth.

If you have the proper local listings program it should only take a year to be listed correctly on the relevant sites. Out of 1200 there will be approximately 750 for your industry. After a year all local listings should be accurate and claimed.

Typically there is a setup fee and monthly fee. If you are paying more than $100/mo for the year you are probably paying too much.
